Art Karat has set up a display-cum-sale of another collection of jewellery inspired by the divine Shringaar of Radha. The theme of the collection on display at Hotel Pacific is Kanha which will conclude on May 18. Designer Asha Modi has carefully crafted each piece of gold plated jewellery using real gems such as rubies, white and yellow sapphire, pearls and pukhraj. The cost of jewellery ranges from Rs2,000 to Rs50,000 a piece.
A resident of New Delhi, Asha Modi’s collection has not only been displayed in India but also in UK, USA, Singapore and Canada. She has also designed jewellery for celebrities in films like Devdas, Monsoon Wedding, Paheli, Kamasutra, Vivah and Ramleela.
