The newly appointed Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Dehradun, SB Joshi assumed charge on Saturday. He was handed over the charge by the outgoing CEO Mukul Kumar Sati. Prior to this assignment, Joshi was working as officiating Additional Director (AD), State Institute of Education Management and Training (SIEMAT) , Dehradun.
Shortly after assuming charge Joshi told The Pioneer that his objective would be to give academic leadership to the teachers. He said that ensuring quality educations in all the schools would be on top of his agenda. On the question of harassment of parents by the private schools, the new CEO said that appropriate and prompt action would be taken if any complaint is received.
