Newly appointed Bageshwar District Magistrate Bhupal Singh Manral took charge of office in Bageshwar on Thursday. Taking charge of the office, Manral said that apart from solving the grievances of the common citizens of the hill district on priority basis, to complete the ongoing natural disaster works across the hill district on time will be his top priority.
Besides, efforts will also be taken to complete all the ongoing developmental works timely so that better infrastructure could beprepared and more importantly, people could be benefitted from theseschemes, he emphasised. Directing the officials concerned of the district administration Bageshwar to complete the developmental works expeditiously, he also stressed on the need to maintain transparency in the functioning. Prior to this new assignment, Manral was working as additional secretary (social welfare, ayush, general administration), the Government of Uttrakhand, as the officials concerned of the Bageshwar district administration informed.
