State Cabinet Minister and Minister-in-charge of the district, Surendra Singh Negi, called upon the officials concerned of the Almora district administration to develop new work culture to come upto the expectations of the people.
The Government is committed for overall development. Therefore, to give concrete shape to the plans, we have to take concrete steps, Negi asked the officials concerned of the Almora district administration, while laying foundation stones of some development projects in Almora on Tuesday.
At the same time, the minister also directed the officials concerned to extend the development process to the rural areas. Development of rural and remote areas is vital for overall development of the state. The Government has taken many steps to ensure better road connectivity in rural areas. More so, the rural areas will also be equipped with necessary basic services. Therefore, officials concerned are supposed to work on priority basis in rural areas, he added.
