The district administration, Udham Singh Nagar has stressed on the need to create awareness among the people for preventing female foeticide.
Taking a meeting in this regard on Monday, Brijesh Kumar Sant, District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar, directed the officials concerned to educate common people in the society for preventing female feticide.
Awareness campaign has to be launched in urban and rural and remote areas across the district so that people could get proper information about it.
That is why all the officials concerned are supposed to create awareness and to disseminate proper information through street dance shows and all other forms of medium in the society so that this social menace of female feticide could be prevented, added the Udham Singh Nagar District Magistrate.
