The organising committee Navankur Natya Sumuh has made full preparation for the Nineth Navankur Natya Rang Mahotsav which is slated to start from October 11 and to continue till 15 October at the district and regional headquarter Pauri. The theatre groups from Delhi, Haryana and Uttarakhand will perform during the Natya Rang Mahotsav. The Natya Rang Mahotsav is being organised by Navankur Natya Samuh, Pauri for the past eight years with the cooperation from the people to enhance the art of the theatre in the cultural town Pauri.
Navankur Natya Sumuh president Ashok Borari and secretary Yamuna Ram said that the fixture of the theatre groups from three states has been finalised. The plays will be staged in the auditorium at Pauri. On the first day of Rang Mohatsav on 11 October, the cultural rang yatra will be staged with the traditional costumes and cultural activities on the main roads of Pauri town in the morning.
The Navankur Natya Sumuh secretary said that on 11 October the play papa mere papa written and directed by Amol Sagar of Black Pearl Art, New-Delhi and play Bhukhey Nawik written by Bhanu Bharti and directed by Amar Shah of Bela Theatre Delhi will be presented, while on 12 October the play Untitle of Black pearl Art, New-Delhi and play Choro ki Gari of Virsa Art theatre Delhi will be staged. On 13 October, Jayaj Hatyaray of Prenga Arts, Delhi and Khhadu lapata play of Garhwal Sanskritik Sansthan Pauri with A.B.C dance group and Natraj dance group Pauri will perform.
On 14 October, Kaal Kotri of Action theatre society Haryana and play Ki-ki mein aaurat hun of Prenga Arts, New-Delhi and on 15 October the play Bhahut bara sawal of Action theatre group society, Haryana and lal rang play of Sheelnut Natya Sanstha, Srinagar Garhwal will be staged. A seminar on the subject Kala, Sahitya and Samaj will be held on 14 October at 11 am in which Suudhir Kumar Singh, Anil Kumar Singh (Poet) and others would participate.
