The historic Nanda Rajjat Yatra is likely to be held from August as the Almora district administration has asked all the departments concerned to complete the preparations for this annual religious event.
Keeping in view participation of devotees in this important annual religious ‘yatra’ in large scale, the Almora district administration has directed all the departments concerned to improve the basic services including roads, drinking water services, lighting on time so that devotees may not have to face any inconveniences.
Taking a meeting in regard to preparations for the upcoming Nanda Rajjat Yatra on Tuesday, Vinod Kumar Suman, District Magistrate, Almora, has directed the departments concerned to put in place necessary measures in advance so that this annual religious event could be completed in a successful manner.
