Among all the contenders, who are trying their luck to become councillor in the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun, Deepak Naithani is believed to be youngest contender in the fray.

Having impeccable political background history, Naithani was denied ticket for councilor for ward number-32. After realizing the fact he is completely unable to cope-up with wrangling in the party as he was denied ticket on several grounds.

Naithani himself filed his nomination paper at collectorate campus amid the huge gathering of supporters. In an exclusive interaction with The Pioneer, Naithani said that he would surely introduce couple of beneficiary projects for the overall development of the ward, if voted to power in the current municipal corporation election.

After lambasting the current councilors for not introducing enough concrete measures for improving the condition of roads, overcoming the problem of potable water and redressing sanity issue in the ward, he claimed to introduce several steps for overall development of the ward, if he sits in the municipal corporation office in the coming days.

Intriguing, Naithani served BJP Yuva Morcha as Mandal Mantri for two years and Mandal Mahamantri for one-year but his dreams were scattered after Naithani was denied ticket by the party.

Completely verve candidate, who has served the ward for nearly six years, hoped that he would emerge victorious in the election.
