In view of the December 31 New Year celebrations, the district administration of Nainital has asked the officials concerned to maintain cleanliness and proper parking arrangements in the lake city.
Since a huge number of tourists visit during this period illegal parking on the roads would not be allowed, said Deepak Rawat, District Magistrate, Nainital. He directed the officials concerned of the traffic police to maintain smooth flow of vehicular traffic and put in place proper parking facilities to spare the tourists any traffic pile-up.
