On the eve of Independence Day, the district administration Nainital launched online birth and death certificate facility for the people of the Haldwani- Kathgodam municipal corporation area.
Now, the people of the municipal corporation of Haldwani-Kathgodam region would get birth and death certificates without any trouble with the opening of this facility, said Deepak Rawat, district magistrate, Nainital, while inaugurating the online birth and death certificate facility here on Friday.
“Birth and death certificates being important documents, the people earlier had to spend time and money to procure them. Now things are easy for them,” added Rawat.
Under this online system, the municipal corporation of Haldwani-Kathgodam would issue these certificates in 21 days, he said.
Among others, Mayor of the municipal corporation of Haldwani-Kathgodam, Jogendra Singh Rautela and city commissioner Harbeer Singh were present during the inauguration.
