In view of the upcoming panchayat elections and a brief session of the state legislative assembly at Gairsain in Chamoli from June 9 to 11, the Nainital district administration has cancelled leave of the officials of different Government departments.
As the panchayat poll process is on and a brief session of the state legislative assembly is going to be held at Gairsain in Chamoli from June 9 to 11, therefore, leaves of officials of all Government departments have been cancelled, said Akshat Gupta, District Magistrate Nainital.
More so, no official will leave station during this period, asserted Gupta.
All the officials concerned of different departments will be ready with departmental information so that in case of queries raised by MlAs during the assembly session in the house, necessary information would be sent immediately to Gairsain assembly session, added Gupta.
At the same time those officials who are engaged in panchayat duties must keep the information of their respective departments with them so that reply could be sent to the Gairsain assembly session in case of a query, further said the official concerned of the Nainital district administration.
