The Mussoorie MlA, Ganesh Joshi, has averred that he will continue to work towards fulfilling his electoral promises of constructing a community shed in every village or ward in his constituency. He said this while addressing a gathering at the inauguration of a community building costing `17.57 lakh near the Omkareshwar temple at Saundhowali in ward number two of Sahastradhara here on Sunday.
Joshi said that the community hall dedicated to the public near the Omkareshwar temple was the 29th such structure. He expressed hope that construction of 40 community sheds would be completed before the coming Assembly election. The MlA said, “I do not make any announcements but directly get on with the work required. CM Harish Rawat is there for making the announcements to a record level,” opined Joshi.
It should be noted here that in response to the request made by local BJP residents of the area, the Mussoorie MlA had announced that he would provide `17.57 lakh for construction of a community shed which was constructed in the Saundhowali within six months of the announcement. The Omkareshwar temple committee Ram Singh Rana along with party workers and the locals were also among those present.
