Speaking on the occasion, Swami Umakantanand Saraswati said, “Eyes play an important role in the functioning of human body along with other body organs. life would be sheer darkness if vision is lost.”
The founder of Muskan Foundation Neha Malik said, “On account of the lack of proper nutrition in the diet, the children are developing poor eyesight. This can be checked by creating general awareness among the parents and the children.”
The city mayor Manoj Garg asked the foundation to conduct more such camps in the schools located in the slum areas across the district.
