In that case too, the criminals burgled houses at gun point and killed one of the family members for resisting them. “We are feeling insecure in view of the two incidents occurring in a few months in the same area. We wonder whether police would stop another such attempt the criminals make to rob and murder us,” said Divya, a neighbour of the murdered woman.
Police sealed off the area following the murder. local police checked vehicles at important crossings in the area. Police are still not sure whether one or more were involved in the crime. A case under sections 394 and 302 of IPC was be registered against unidentified persons in Doiwala police station after receiving a report from the deceased’s husband Jagdish Singh Rawat on Saturday, Doiwala police said. The police recovered the hammer that was used as the murder tool.
