Judicial Magistrate lansdowne has sent accused Deepak Singh to 14 days’ judicial custody in connection with the attempt to murder case involving his sister-in-law under section 307/ 457/ 506 Indian Penal Code, informed Dhumakot Police Thana in- charge N K Bachkoti , who is also the investigating officer of the case.
The medical examination of the injured girl has been done, he said. Determined to kill his wife, Deepak Singh had mistakenly hacked his sister-in-law in his wife’s paternal residence at village Malli Nalai of Dhumakot Tehsil.
