In order to address the grievances of the citizens on the spot and more importantly, to make them aware of different Government-run popular schemes, the Champawat district administration is going to organise a multipurpose camp in the district on Wednesday.
The people may get their grievances related to basic services solved on the spot at this camp. Apart from helping the citizens resolve their problems on the spot, different Government departments, including health, revenue, agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, forest, social welfare, child development and education, will also set up their respective stalls at the camp to make the participants aware of the Government's welfare schemes, said the officials concerned of the Champawat district administration.
More importantly, the district health department will extend basic health facilities to the needy at the camp. Besides, it will also distribute medicines free of cost to the needy at the camp, added the officials.
Meanwhile, to ensure successful conduct of the multipurpose camp, the district administration, Champwat has directed the officials concerned to be present at the camp on Wednesday. The multipurpose camp will be organised at the Panchayat Ghar at Tamali in Champawat from 11 am on Wednesday, it is learnt.
