The recent pesky episode involving the Medical Superintendent (MS) of Doon Medical College and Principal Medical Superintendent (PMS) of Doon Hospital highlighted the problem arising out of delay in handing over of these assets. The MS of medical college Dr KK Tamta had threatened to resign if the hospital administration continues to ignore his demand of allotting a work station to him. However, after the threat, hospital administration asked him to earmark a place for his office himself in the hospital. A doctor of the Doon hospital observed that such an incident would never had taken place had the hospital been under the medical education department.
