'Move will improve quality of education in Govt schools'

Published on:

The suggestion of Chief Minister to convert five primary schools in every block into Mini Navodaya Vidhyalayas is significant keeping in mind the demand being raised from various quarters to ensure that all those who are getting money from Government treasury should send their wards to Government schools. In wake of recent judgment of Allahabad High court which ordered the Uttar Pradesh Government to make sure that the Government employees and Ministers should compulsorily send their wards to Government schools. The order evoked positive response from all sections of society as people believe that this initiative would improve the quality of education in Government schools which at present is in dismal State.

Some members of the teacher organisation even proposed that they are ready to send their children in the Government schools provided they have at least five teachers. They suggested that the Government should pick some primary schools in every block and provide at least five teachers in them.

The CM has probably taken up their demand

seriously.
