The Minister of State for Railway Manoj Sinha arrived in Dehradun by plane and reached Haridwar by road on a private visit on Thursday, many hours behind the schedule due to inclement weather. SDM Roorkee Mohd Nasir informed that he is in the city to attend a personal function. He is scheduled to leave for Delhi via Dehradun on road. However, sources said he might perform puja at a temple in Haridwar on Friday morning before he leaves for Delhi. The media persons who gathered at dam kothi (government guest house) where he was supposed to put up to take his bytes on national issues, were disappointed as he went straight to a private hotel.
