MlA Kaushik raises land encroachment issue

M lA Madan Kaushik raised issue of Ibrahimpur Masai, where land mafia had encroached the land illegally. The Government conducted an  inquiry and the land returned to the Gram Sabha. But the government is not taking action against the guilty person.Then Revenue Minister Yashpal Arya said they would inquire and take appropriate action. The Opposition then asked  the Speaker to instruct the Treasury Bench to lodge FIR against the accused.

As inquiry has already been completed but the government is saying they would inquire further. It is clear that they are patronising the guilty. Hence, the Speaker should  instruct the government to take punitive action against the accused. MlA Harbas Kapur said that Chandramati has committed suicide by jumping into Alaknanda river because her house was flattened in June 2013 disaster. However, the family has not  got compensation yet. Then disaster minister Yashpal Arya said he would conduct inquiry and lodge complaint against the guilty official for the lapse.
