Uttarakhand Ministerial Collectorate Employees’ Association will stage a three-day boycott of the office work starting from December 7 at the State level in support of their pending demands unless the State Government acts on them by December 6, said the Garhwal unit president of the association Vikram Singh Rawat, adding that they had served the relevant notice to the district magistrate.
He further said that the pending demands included re-organisation of collectorate structure, fixing graduation as the qualification for the recruitment of the collectorate ministerial employees and G O to be issued confirming 10 percent promotion of ministerial employees during the direct recruitment to the posts of Nayab Tehsildars as per the decision taken during the cabinet meeting held on 14 November 2013. The other two demands are that pay grade of the sanctioned post of senior assistant in the newly established tehsil be made p-2800 in the place of p-2400 and immediate promotion for the vacant posts of chief administrative officer and senior administrative officer.
He said they are being forced to resort to the three-day boycott of works in view of the state government remaining apathetic towards their legitimate demands.
