Uttarakhand Health Minister Surendra Singh Negi assured Nagrik Sangarsh Samiti, residents of town, Bussiness association that the demand of doctors and technicians will be sorted out in 15 days and asked the agitators to end their agitation.
Under the banner of Nagrik Sangarsh Samiti, different organization and residents of the town launched the agitation in support of the demand that doctors and specialist doctors should be appointed in the district hospital at Pauri
in Public interest of the locals and remote area. NSS active member Bhagwan Verma said that NSS had taken decision that the Government should be given upto 02 January to fulfill the commitment, if the Government fails to appoint doctors in the district hospital, the NSS and residents of town will start the suspended agitation.
