The minority affairs and transport Minister Yashpal Arya has directed that survey of properties of Waqf Board in the State should be conducted. The District Magistrates of all the districts will be sent letters for identification of the properties of Waqf Board.
The Minister has also sought details of the disputed properties of the Board. In a meeting held in Vidhan Sabha auditorium on Monday the Minister said that emphasis should be laid on strong advocacy in the pending court cases of Waqf board properties.
