The third season of Face of Doon was held here on Friday. Noted model and actor Milind Soman was the chief guest while director general, Police, Ashok Kumar, co-founder of Been There Doon That group Lokesh Ohri and lawyer and poet Atul Pundir were present as the guests of honour.
The winners announced on the occasion included Himadri Negi, Satvika Goyal, Tanya Kotnala, Deepak Rathore, Rachit Gupta, Deependra Singh Negi, Shekhar Singh, Arshleen Kaur, Ganesh Saili, Maanas Lal and Lt Col (retd) Rohit Mishra. Soman and the other invited guests crowned the winners.
Addressing the audience, Soman said, “I congratulate all the winners present here, for winning the title of the 'Face of Doon'. It is your hard work and dedication that has made you achieve such a prestigious honour.”The theme of this year’s campaign was #BornToDoon and the entries for the same were accepted from earlier this month.
Various performances were also held on the occasion including a fusion and patriotic dance. Vice president of Pacific Mall, Anshul Pahuja said, “We’re excited to announce the winners of the third season of Face of Doon. Our aim behind hosting this campaign was to bring the people of Dehradun face to face with creators, influencers, warriors and reformers, who have brought about a change in the city.”
