The doctors of Mahant Indiresh hospital claimed that 12 cases of chickenpox were reported in a free health camp organised by the hospital on Friday.
The additional Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr VK Bihari informed that out of the dozen cases three patients of the disease were found in a serious condition.
He said that the team of doctors examined 648 people in the camp and distributed free medicines. On the advice of doctors 14 year old Ishita Pal was admitted in the hospital.
