In order to ensure timely payment of their dues to the labourers and greater degree of transparency in the MGNREGA, the Bageshwar district administration has introduced e-muster roll in the district.
Some of the villages, where the e-muster roll system has been introduced, include Mankot and Aksuara villages belonging to Bageshwar block, Than Dangolii and laubanj villages of Garur and Golan and Baskuna villages of Kapkot block of the Bageshwar district
The main purpose behind introducing the e-muster roll system is to ensure payment of their dues to the labourers on time and to maintain greater degree of transparency in running this flagship programme of the Government, said Roshan lal, CDO, Bageshwar.
All the officials concerned have already been directed to strictly implement the e-muster roll system in their respective areas, added the CDO, Bageshwar. The e-muster roll will be introduced in all villages of every block of the district soon, added the CDO, Bageshwar.
