Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast rather heavy to heavy rainfall at isolated places during next 48 hours from Tuesday evening.
Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre director Anand Sharma said that monsoon had arrived in the state on Tuesday and Uttarakhand may receive rather heavy to heavy rainfall at isolated places. Sharma further said that the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 28.2°C and 22.3°C respectively in Dehradun on Tuesday.
The weather forecast for Dehradun on Wednesday is generally cloudy sky and rain/ thunder storm in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 30°C and 23°C respectively on Wednesday in Dehradun.
The weather forecast for Uttarakhand on Wednesday is light to moderate rain/thunder storm at many places. Rather heavy/heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places especially in southern parts of Uttarakhand. The Met office has issued warning of rather heavy to heavy rainfall in isolated places during next 48 hours starting from Tuesday evening.
