Things were humid in Dehradun on Thursday. No rainfall was reported on Thursday over the past 24 hours from the plains of the State, said the Met officials. They further said that light to moderate rainfall/thundershowers might occur at several places till August 29.
The Met director Bikram Singh said that weather forecast for Dehradun on Friday is light rainfall/thundershowers at many places. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34 ºC and 24 ºC respectively in Dehradun the same day.
The maximum temperature was recorded four notches above normal in the city while the minimum was one degree above normal on Thursday.In Pantnagar, maximum temperature was recorded three notches above normal while minimum temperature was normal.The maximum temperature was recorded three notches above normal in Mukteshwar while the minimum was two degrees above normal on Thursday.
Singh informed that the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 33.9ºC Celsius and 23.2ºC Celsius in Dehradun respectively while it was 23.7ºC and 14.8ºC in Mukteshwar, 25.6ºC and 17.2ºC in Tehri and 35.9ºC and 24.2ºC in Pantnagar on Thursday.
