The State Meteorological Centre has forecast the possibility of snowfall at isolated places in Uttarakhand at altitude of 2500 metres and above. Overall, the state will experience partly to generally cloudy sky on Saturday.
Very light to light rainfall/ snowfall is likely to occur at isolated place in mountainous regions of Uttarakhand especially in the Kumaon region while dry weather is likely to prevail in rest of the State.
In the provisional capital of Uttarakhand, the sky will be mainly clear to partly cloudy on Saturday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 23 degree Celsius and nine degree Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile on Friday, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places in the state were 22.4 degree Celsius and 8.5 degree Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 18.5 degree Celsius and 4.2 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 14.8 degree Celsius and 4.8 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar, 15.2 degree Celsius and 6.4 degree Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
