The Uttarakhand Meteorological centre has forecast light to moderate rain/thunderstorm at many places in Uttarakhand on May 30.
However, it might rain in higher reaches of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts on days from May 27 to May 29, said Met director Bikram Singh on Thursday. He said that the weather forecast for Dehradun on Friday is mainly clear becoming partly cloudy sky towards afternoon/evening.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 36ºC and 21ºC respectively in Dehradun on Friday.
Singh further informed that the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 35.8ºC (normal) and 21.8ºC (normal) in Dehradun while it was 23.8ºC (normal) and 11.7ºC (one degree below normal) in Mukteshwar, 25.0ºC (normal) and 14.8ºC (normal) in Tehri and 35.5ºC (two degree below the normal) and 23.8ºC (two degree above the normal) in Pantnagar on Thursday.
