Aashish Dhyani, the proud father of four babies, could not have afforded the huge expenses of a super specialty private hospital like Max. Dhyani works in private company based at Jammu and earns a paltry monthly wage of Rs 10,000 only.
The company which Dhyani works had a comprehensive medical insurance policy for its employees due to which the medical expenses of operation and stay for more than a month at Max hospital could be met. He said that though the medical expenses of the hospital were taken care of because of the health insurance policy, he is now worried about the future of the four babies.
The president of a NGO Jagriti, Manish Bhatt, said that his organisation is trying to find some donors for the Dhyani family so that the upkeep of four babies is done properly.
He said that he expected some help like giving some concessional regular medical check-up facility for the babies from the hospital, but his requests for the same were not heeded by the hospital management. Bhatt said that the hospital did its best to gain publicity from the birth of the quadruplets, but did nothing which could have actually helped them.
