The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. The players who won gold, silver and bronze medals in the above competition were awarded with cash prize of `50, 000, `45, 000, and `40, 000 along with citation letters on the occasion. It should be mentioned here that a total of six policemen from the Uttarakhand were selected in Indian team for participating in the competition. Manish Rawat had won gold medal in five kilo metes walk race. Mukesh Rawat secured four gold medals in athletic (1500 metres, 5 km and 10 km race and 3000 metres steeplechase). Kamla Bisht had secured gold in boxing (in 57 KG).
