In order to address all types of issues and problems of the public related to the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) and to facilitate redressal of the same, the authority has decided to hold Samadhan Diwas every Wednesday.
The first such day will be held on this Wednesday, January 23. Taking cognisance of the issues faced by the public, the authority has decided to take these up sector-wise.
On the first Wednesday of the month, the issues of the general public from sectors, one, two and three will be heard. Similarly, issues from sectors four, five and six will be heard on the second Wednesday of the month, issues from sectors seven, eight and nine will be heard on the third Wednesday and issues from sectors 10, 11 and 12 will be heard on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Attempt will also be made to resolve the problems on the spot.
In case of a holiday on Wednesday, the hearing will be held on the next working day. MDDA officials state that members of the public are expected to bring the relevant documents with them to get their issues resolved. The secretary of the authority, its joint secretary and other officers were also remain during the hearing to be held on Samadhan Diwas.
