In the wake of the controversy sparked off by the transfer of Harak Singh Rawat from the post of MNA, the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) has issued an order for sealing the Pacific Hills Apartments. The authority has decided to seal the apartments on Monday for violation of setback norms. It will be recalled that last year, the then MNA Harak Singh Rawat had initiated action against the apartments being constructed on Mussoorie diversion after it was revealed that the builder had encroached on municipal land. The MDDA had then deferred taking action against the builder but has now decided to seal the apartment in question.
