The Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD) will be restarting its anti-encroachment drive in a day or two.
Following multiple feedbacks of re-encroachment inside the municipal corporation area the municipal commissioner will be issuing directions to conduct a joint anti-encroachment campaign with police department in the city.
The municipal commissioner MNA Vinay Shankar Pandey said, “We are receiving complaints about re encroachments.
We have not been conducting any campaign for more than a month now because of some programmes and the rainy season, but now we are going to resume it.
In a day or two you will see improvement on the roads with our 15-day anti-encroachment drive.” It is pertinent to mention here that outline of the drive is still in the initial stage; district administration and police department are proposed to get involved in the drive.
