On the third day of drive against encroachments by vendors, the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD) seized nearly 10 truckloads of items from unauthorised vendors on Wednesday. A team of 35 municipal staff along with police conducted the drive.
An MCD official informed, “The drive conducted on Wednesday covered the area from Rispana bridge to ISBT. The police force also accompanied the drive and 35 municipal personnel were present during the removal of the unauthorised vendors. We seized nearly 10 truckloads including the carts and products being sold by the unauthorised vendors.”
