The Municipal Corporation of Dehradun installed a face mask vending machine on Thursday provided by VP Industries for public use.
According to the officials, the use of masks is crucial in current times and through this vending machine, anyone can get a mask by putting Rs five into the machine.
The municipal commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey inaugurated the first mask vending machine in the corporation and informed that three more such vending machines will be installed in the campus in the next few days.
The corporation had also installed a few automatic hand sanitiser dispenser machines a few months ago in premises but some of them have been non-functional for some weeks now.
