With a view to ensure maximum polling on the voting day in the district on Wednesday, May 7, the District Election Office, Nainital, has decided to declare Wednesday, May 7, as public holiday in the district. All the Government and private offices and factories will remain closed in the district on the voting day (May 7) so that maximum number of voters could cast their votes on polling day, said Akshat Gupta, District Election Officer (DEO), Nainital.
So, we also appeal to the people to exercise their franchise in a big way on the voting day on May 7, further said the DEO, Nainital.
