Now, parents will be spared the pains of taking their children afflicted with heart ailments to other cities like Delhi with Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, Delhi, having decided to extend its paediatric cardiac services to Haldwani.
Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, Delhi, has reached an agreement with Shri Ram Hospital, Tikonia, Haldwani for the extension, said Dr K S Dagar, director and senior consultant (pediatric cardiac surgery), Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, Delhi. According to the agreement, Dr Dagar will look after children suffering from various heart ailments at Shri Ram Hospital, Tikonia, Haldwani every fourth Saturday of a month.
“We are going to start our inaugural heart care facility at Shri Ram Hospital, Tikonia, Haldwani from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday,” informed Dr Dagar. “Apart from providing heart care facilities to the children here, we are also aiming at creating awareness among the people about the heart ailments that the children are falling prey to,” said Hari Boolchandani, regional director, Max Super Specaility Hospital, Saket, Delhi.
