Doctors from Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun- leading healthcare services provider- welcomed the new team of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Dehradun at the Investiture Ceremony organised in the city. Dr Asha Rawal took over the presidency of IMA, Dehradun from Dr Kuldeep Dutta. Dr Utkarsh Sharma became the new secretary in the place of Dr Geeta Khanna.
The investiture ceremony witnessed various esteemed guests including Surender Singh Negi, Health Minister of Uttarakhand; Rear Admiral Dr Charu Verma and Dr Narendera Rawal, renowned Anesthetist from Sweden.
At the ceremony, Dr Khanna presented 2014 Secretary Report, giving details of all activities done in 2014. Dr Avinal Kalra presented the Treasurer Report and Dr Kuldeep Dutta presented the overall report.
40 doctors from IMA Dehradun Unit were honoured with IMA President’s awards. The awardees include Dr Prof AK Singh, Senior Consultant- Neurosurgery and Director, MIND; Dr Manoj Gupta and Dr Mahesh Agarwal.
Health Minister Negi presented the awards to the awardees. 250 doctors attended the ceremony.
