Despite improvement in weather conditions road connectivity in hilly areas of Nainital district continues to remain disrupted following blocking of a couple of roads.
The aforesaid blocked motorable roads of the Nainital district include the Ghirauli- Khairali Road and the Simliya Band-Sanani Road, informed the officials concerned of the Nainital district administration. However, out of a total 59 roads connecting different parts of Nainital, as many as 57 roads are presently open for vehicular traffic in the district, added the officials concerned of the Nainital district administration.
And, efforts are on to open the blocked roads as early as possible so that transport services could be restored on these blocked roads also, they added.
