Garhwal Range IG/DIG Sanjay Kumar Gunjyal ordered Dehradun SSP to lodge an FIR in Rajpur Road police station against some persons — Harish Chandra, Sanjay Kumar, Dayarani, JP Singhal, UK Gaur, Murlidhar Godiyal, Megha Zindal and others for land sale-related forgery. Police said the forgery involves three bigha of lands located at Mauja Jagatkhana Kalagoan, Sahastradhara, Rajpur.
An imposter was presented as the owner of the land under question, police sources said. A case under sections 420/467/468/471/120b of IPC has been registered against the accused and police officers have been directed to arrest the accused promptly.
