The District and Sessions Judge, Kumkum Rani, has sentenced Hari Prasad to life imprisonment and Rs 10,000 fine under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code for the murder of his brother Ravindra in village Thalda of Satpuli Tehsil.
Pleading for the prosecution, DGC (criminal) KP Dangwal said that revenue police sub inspector Patti langurwala lodged a report on the news published in the regional newspaper on January 1, 2007, went to the Thalda village and recovered the body of Ravindra. The accused came to the room with an axe and metal pipe. Ravindra’s wife and three children were in the room when he was murdered on the night of December 30.
