The Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Shatrughna Singh has directed officials concerned to prepare fool-proof arrangements for the scheduled visit of President Pranab Mukherjee to Uttarakhand for visiting the Kedarnath shrine on June 22.
Singh informed that after his arrival at Dehradun airport, the president will depart directly for Kedarnath where he is scheduled to pay his obeisance to lord Kedarnath at 9:55 am before returning to Dehradun. As per the proposed plan, the President will take rest from 12:50 pm to 6 pm at the Raj Bhawan here before leaving for Delhi.
The State Governor KK Paul, CM Harish Rawat, Dehradun Mayor Vinod Chamoli, chief secretary and director general of police MA Ganapathy will receive the president at the Dehradun airport.
