In a major administrative reshuffle, the State Government has changed responsibilities of many additional secretary level officers of Indian Administrative Services (IAS) on Wednesday. The key assignment of Additional Secretary, medical health and family welfare has been given to Arunendra Singh Chauhan.
This position is currently being held by Pankaj Kumar Pandey. He however would continue holding the charge of Additional Secretary, Training and technical education, medical education, and Director General Information. The charge of Additional Secretary, Information Technology has been taken away from Arunendra Singh Chauhan who would continue looking after the assignment of AD Finance, good governance and corruption eradication.
In an another decision related with the health service, the government relieved Chandresh Kumar Yadav from the post of Mission Director National Health Mission (NHM) and Project Director Uttarakhand Health System Development project. Yadav however has been given the charge of Project Director Uttarakhand Urban Sector Development (ADB) and AD Information technology and urban development. The charge of AD Mining and programme Manager, PIU, Public building, URDP- world bank has been taken away from Vinod Kumar Suman. The Additional Sectary Government Estates and Director Mining Vinay Shankar Pandey would also hold the charge of Additional Secretary Mining now.
The Addl Secretary Tourism, Culture, disaster management, CEO Tourism Development Board, Project Director externally funded projects- 2, CEO, state disaster management authority, Savin Bansal would hold additional responsibility of Programme manager ,PIU, Public building, URDP- world bank.
AD Rural development Yugal Kishore Pant would also hold the key responsibility of Mission Director and Project Director U’khand Health System Development project. IAS Bhupal Singh Manral has been relieved of the charge of Project Director Uttarakhand Urban Sector Development Agency. He would continue holding the responsibilities of AD Personnel, Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary and Project Director ADB
Apart from the IAS officers the Govt also reshuffled onus of some other officers/.
The AD Home and director Sports, Vimmi Sachdeva (IPS) would hold the additional charge of Director Youth welfare. This charge is currently being held by Prashant Kumar Arya who continue holding the assignment of Joint Director Sports.
