The State’s additional director of police (crime and law) Ashok Kumar asked about the problems faced by policemen and delved on the solution while attending the first police constable seminar, held in Kotdwar in Pauri district on the weekend.
It was stated that training will be given to the unemployeed youth under the skill development programme in the future at Kotdwar. The selected youth will be given training in courses for tourist guide, mobile repairing, computer training and hospitality.
The Pauri senior superintendent of police Jagat Ram Joshi, various police officers and members of civil society were also among those present on the occasion.
