The Mahant Indiresh Hospital here has decided to organise a month long special camp for children during summer vacation. The hospital authorities claim that the camp would be unique as things like I Q test, career counseling, Aptitute test and Personality tests would be conducted on the students by the experts.
The Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Vinay Rai told newsmen here on Wednesday that the camp would be organised from Thursday in the hospital campus. He said that there are so many practical problems with the children that are ignored by the parents and in long run these problems can produce very disturbing effects on children. Speaking at the occasion, Senior Pediatrician of hospital, Dr. Girish Gupta said that there are so many problems like the height of the child not increasing naturally, the child being obese or being too thin, the problems of adolescence especially with the girls are such issues which children generally are not able to share with their parents. He said that in the camp, children can come with their parents, share all such problems with the doctors and can get treated.
The Clinical Psychologist of hospital, Dr Archna Singh said that facilities like children’s Personality Test, I.Q. Test, Career Counseling, Aptitude Test would be available during the camp.
