The members of Making A Difference by Being the Difference (MAD) organised and participated in various activities with the residents of Raphael Home in Dehradun on Sunday. About 40 students turned up from various schools and colleges of the city. The students reached Raphael Home with balloons, roses, sweets, gifts and drawing files.
“Our idea was to involve everyone so we had told the Raphael Home authorities that we would like to conduct a drawing and painting competition among the students,” said MAD member and Class-X student Kashika Mahant. After the competition was over, the participants were taken inside the hall for refreshments which had been arranged by the MAD members. A dance session was also held. The activity concluded with distribution of prizes to winners of the competition.
