The patients have been facing problem as the lone CT scan machine of the department of radiology of GDMC Hospital has not been repaired yet though it had developed malfunctioning in last week of February. It is learnt that an amount of Rs 40 lakh is expected to be spent on the repair of this important radio diagnostic machine. More than 40 CT scans are done by the machine daily and in the absence of the facility, the patients are being forced to visit expensive private hospitals and diagnostic centres to get the CT done.
