The portals of the Lokpal temple and Hemkund Gurudwara were closed to the public for the winters here in Chamoli district on Wednesday. The portals of the shrine and Gurudwara were ceremoniously closed to the public at about 1:30 PM.
About 2,150 persons were present on the occasion. According to sources, more than two lakh devotees visited the shrines this year.
